Local astrophotographer Tim Jackson, who held a very popular talk at Kemerton Village Hall earlier this year, will be making
a welcome return visit to us in October with a new and exciting event.
Tim will be bringing some of his treasured gear with him and, along with a telescope on loan for the evening from Janet Darby, we will be offering you the chance to observe some of the amazing objects in our night sky. The telescopes will be set up in the paddock behind the hall, by kind permission of George Workman.
Tim will also be giving a talk on telescopes for beginners prior to the observations.
The event is planned for Saturday 19th October, but the observations part will, of course, be weather dependant. If the forecast is not looking good, the event will be rescheduled ahead of time. If it turns wet or is cloudy on the night Tim will conduct a longer talk in the hall and the observations will be re-arranged at no extra cost.
NOW SOLD OUT
The price will be £5 per person, payable on the night, with proceeds going to Kemerton Conservation Trust.
